Villanueva de Córdoba, like the rest of the region of Los Pedroches, is located on a huge granite batholith, this has conditioned the architecture of the whole region since the man settled in these lands. The town has a large architectural heritage, made in granite, highlighting different buildings, such as the Church of Christ the King, located next to La Casa de las Tías
